  easily the best pizza in town. a local institution some things don't change and i hope mario's never does.

  For the amount of food you get for the price, it would deserve a 4 star. For a very large slice of pizza it is only $2.50, and each additional topping is .50 cents. Toppings are a little pricey, but a plain cheese pizza slice price isn't that bad.
  
  Now, taking in consideration the quality of pizza... my rating drops significantly. For a freshly made to order pizza I was hoping the flavor would be better. It had a ton of grease on it with a few slices of pepperoni. Personally, I like a crisp pepperoni - these ones were sopping in grease. The crust was soggy where cheese was but rock solid on the edge.
  
  Overall, I would unfortunately opt for a chain pizza such as Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc., before here again in Havelock.

  Great lunch spot. You get what you pay for, if what you paid for is a delicious slice of greasy goodness. Cheap giant slices. I would give another star if it was a little less greasy and if the place was cleaner, but it was a good experience over all. I'm sure we'll be back!

  Cheap good pizza with people who attend to their job and  are genuinely kind. I came in after a long day of surfing to order some pizza and was out in 5 minutes. I would recommend getting a whole pizza rather than pizza by the slice.
